Larry Wittenburg was a valued worker for Springville Ready Mix before receiving an opportunity to buy the company in 1979. Since then, the business has been operated by Larry and his wife Lori. There have been many upgrades and expansions to the plant. It was started with a single shop and a scale operated with levers and pullies. It has now grown to three shops, a new plant, and advanced computerized systems.  

 

In recent years, as their daughters have gotten older and have graduated, they have gotten involved with the business as well. Now Springville Ready Mix is truly a family business.
